The Infant Mental Health Program is for parents and caregivers with infants and young children ages 0 to 6. This program provides intensive, home-based therapy and case management services to families in Kalamazoo County. Services focus on alleviating concerns identified by the family related to attachment, development, and behaviors of the child. They aim to support parents and pregnant women in building a healthy environment and strengthening their relationship with their child. This program utilizes an Infant Mental Health lens for therapy services, meaning that the parent’s perspective of the family’s needs and the relationship between parent and child are the central focus.
WHO
To participate in EIP, you must be a resident of Kalamazoo County and meet medical necessity for Homebased Services. Eligibility is determined by ISK (Integrated services of Kalamazoo).

WHAT
Early Intervention services are provided weekly in the home, school, and/or community. Case Management services are provided monthly in the home, school, and/or community.
