The Children’s Advocacy Center of Kalamazoo (CAC) is a caring, child-focused, safe place for children who have been sexually or severely physically abused. Children are interviewed by a specially trained forensic interviewer while an investigative team, including law enforcement and victim/witness advocates, works together to further the investigation, treatment, and prosecution of child abuse cases. Individual and group therapy is offered by therapists who are highly trained and certified in utilizing evidence-based techniques. All of our services at The Children’s Advocacy Center are provided at no cost to families. We are funded through donations, grants, and fundraising activities.
