You just want to feel better. And trying to find a professional you feel comfortable with can feel overwhelming when you’re in the midst of pain, fear, and turmoil. Allowing someone to truly see you at your most vulnerable state is a courageous act. It is an honor and privilege that I deeply respect. I make it my aim to work as a team with you to reach the goals you choose to set for yourself. I provide support & insight so that my clients can gain a better understanding of themselves while gaining helpful tools to address life’s challenges. I utilize an interpersonal, genuine approach and offer respect, empathy, and understanding.
My professional experience includes work with substance use, co-occurring mental health concerns, infertility, Post-Partum Depression and Perinatal Mood Disorders, Alzheimer’s & Dementia, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and trauma history. I enjoy working with people of all ethnicities, backgrounds, and sexual orientations.
I graduated with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Specialty Certificate in Alcohol and Drug Abuse from Western Michigan University. I also have state certification as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC).
